Lamellar Gneiss...
  or Luserna stone

Stone is the heritage of the mountains and of our traditions. It is linked to moments of life that form our shared past. The Luserna stone — or lamellar gneiss to give it its original name — that we extract and process comes from proprietary quarries located in the "Tube Medie and Superiori" areas within the municipality of Bagnolo Piemonte, in the province of Cuneo.

The gneissic texture of Luserna stone tells a chromatic story that explores shades from gray to blue, with a small percentage of veins tending toward rose. The success of this stone stems primarily from its use in the noble palaces of Turin when it was the capital of Italy, later spreading throughout the rest of Europe and beyond.
